Zanskar
This is situated between the Indus valley and the main crest of the Indian Himalaya. This hill station is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and gompas (Monasteries). Here you will find lot of adventurous activity like you can do trekking in Panikhar , Rangdum, Pentse La, Zanskar Valley , Lamayuru, Padum, Markha valley etc.
The Sight Seeing places here are "Drang-Drung" glaciers, Panikhar, Penzella Pass, Karsha, Labrang etc.

Alchi : This is nearby Srinagar-Leh highway where you will find many historical sites of Asia.
Baltoro Glacier : This is situated on the southern slopes of the central Karakoram Range in the Baltistan area of Jammu and Kashmir surrounded with high peaks.
Baralacha Pass : This is situated at an altitude of 16,400ft above sea level. This pass is 8 Km long and literally from this pass "Many roads meet".
Biafo Glacier : This is located on the slopes of the Karakoram Range in the Baltistan area of Ladakh. This is 60 km in length.
Dah-Hanu : This is nearby to Indus river and Leh and is surrounded by the great Hindu- Kush mountains.
Dosmoche : This is an ancient tradition started by the kings of Ladakh that is celebrated every year in Febuary with great fervor and pomp.
Hemis Festival : This is one of the most popular monastic selections in Ladakh, the festival that is celebrated in honor to the centuries-old traditions of the Kar-gyur-pa sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
Karakoram Pass : This pass lies on the highest trade routes in the world for Yarkand in Central Asia.
